I love watching my little boy grow up. I love who he is becoming. He has a dry sense of humor that cracks me up !!! Driving in our van on the weekend we played a game to pass the time. I asked each child what their favorite verse was and if they could recite it from scripture. They have been in Awana for years and can *memory work* me under the table.
My beautiful daughter Shay recited Matthew 26:41 it blesses my heart that she would pick this verse as one of her favorites. If she is aware of watching and praying not to fall into temptation,that makes my job EASY! hehe.
Bryden when it was his turn being the boy that he is, said John 3:16 and started to recite *for God so loved the world......(No No ) I say, that one is too easy, give it some thought. He thought for a minute and says *for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God* ..again. I laugh and say "really Bryden is that your favorite, pick one that you haven't know since you were 2 !" He then grinned that adorable impish grin of his, the one that be-speaks badness. And Says * Jesus wept!* ahhhh how I love that boy, what a brat!!
